echo "Happy Birthday";

ivan.jovanovic - 18 September 2008

My birthday was some time ago, but due to some unexpected circumstances I managed to share this moment with the colleagues from YoungCulture today. This way I would like to thank them for the nice greeting card with their signatures.

As a present I got 2G memory for my Toshiba laptop. Now I see that it really needed extra memory. I promised to Vladimir to take laptop tomorrow and install module together, but just could not wait :) Sorry Vlado, here you can see my re-engineering efforts in couple of pics :)

Well, there is step by step instructions for installing new memory module, but since I did not have exactly the  Phillips screwdriver that by Toshiba exclusively opens it ;D I though not to try at all. I had only some cheap, half broken, old, screwdriver :)

I thought that 1G inside the laptop was previously installed as one module, but unfortunately they pack it with two 512Mb modules, so I'll need to go to the store and replace it for one 1G module to have full 3 Giga. Since then I can enjoy in much better performance of my Ubuntu with this memory setup. Improvement is really evident.
